Our lift skirts and bellows are made specifically for heavy duty use in the toughest conditions. In fact, we only use thick 22oz per yard vinyl which better resists premature wear, tearing and ripping. The quality of the skirt is as good and often times better than you will receive from the original equipment supplier.

Southworth lift table skirts, which shipped with your original order, do not have to be supplied by Southworth should you require a new bellows or replacement bellows. In fact, the lift table manufactures generally are only reselling to their customers from a skirt manufacturer. This reselling results in higher purchase prices by you the consumer.

Please also keep in mind that when you require a new replacement bellows for your Southworth lift table, that you provide Akon with as much information about the lift as possible. This includes the table model (if available) and the length and width of the unit. To simplify this process, we have included all the questions we need answered in our online form.

Special Installation Considerations

It is important to note that some Southworth lifts are designed with platforms which are larger than the scissor lift base. When this condition exists, it might be impossible to mount the skirt to the lift base from the top down. Should this be indicative of your lifter, then it will be a good idea to purchase a vertical zipper or velcro feature which is located on one vertical edge of the replacement lift table skirt. This will allow you to wrap the skirt around the Southworth lift table, rather than installing it from the top down.
