OVERVIEW
In order to ensure that your next order of lift table bellows is built and shipped to your exacting needs, follow the guidelines bellows.
Step #1 Material Selection
Typically a standard vinyl lift table bellows will work just fine for your application. These types of skirts are used on the vast majority of lift tables as the material performs well and has a fairly long life cycle. However, if you have an application where the environment is not conducive to vinyl, then you might consider a material such as Kevlar or even chain mesh as an alternative. These materials both handle high temperatures well and are fairly versatile.
Step #2 Mounting Selection
Akon offers several mounting methods for the lift table bellows. One is the Velcro attachment and the other is the flat bar mount. The Velcro attachment is the most economical mounting but it is not recommended for large lift table bellows. For large bellows, we recommend the flat bar that is bolted onto the lift. This is preferable, as large skirts are typically heavier and can rip away the Velcro adhesive.
Step #3 Color Selection
There are several color configurations to choose from to suit your visual requirements. Most customers choose a black and yellow combination as it stands out more than an all yellow or all black lift table bellows. However, there are other colors to choose from depending on your preferences. Keep in mind that the standard colors are less expensive than the custom colors which are not in stock.
